on from Home Alone Fame. He's going to be in
Chicago at the Rosemud Theater December sixth. He's here to
tell us more about it. Hi. Oh, Hi mccaully. Wait,
do I call you McCauley. Do I call you Mac? Wait?

(00:20):
What do I call you?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
My friends call me Max, so you can call me McCauley. No,
you call me mackew.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
Wait, McCauley, my friends call me Missy, so you could
call me Melissa. Okay, then how about that?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Okay, there you go, perfect, perfect, Yes, but yes you can.
You can call me Mac. It's nice and that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Oh my gosh. We're so excited you're coming, are you.
I know you're going to a lot of cities, but
you have to be the most excited to come back
to Chicago. Am I right?

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Absolutely? Yes, Yes, I was very happy to you. I
kind of go back to the old stomping grounds.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
All right, So listen, tell us about the night we're
gonna watch the movie because I've been trying to promote
this on the air and I really want to get
an idea of like what is happening that night.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah, so yeah, everyone's going come on in and watch
Home alone from getting to end. I can't remember the
last time I watched it with an audience. It's been
like thirty four years. I just remember back in the day,
like watching kind of for the first time, like with
the actual audience, and just how how everyone feeds off
of each other that the laughter can be quite infectious,
And I was like, yeah, like, you know, that would

(01:15):
be kind of fun and interesting and nice to you know,
get everyone together and watch the movie, and then afterward
I do an hour long Q and A. I might
even give away some stuff you never know. Then you know,
there's a little meet and greet. The people, you know
are so inclined.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
How many times do you think you've seen the movie?
We were trying to figure this out.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
I mean it's in the hundreds for sure, because when
I was a kid, I you know, I had to
go to like all of the screenings and all the
premieres and stuff. Plus it's kind of just on right
around this time of year, it's just kind of just
phone TV, so just look there, right, And then on
top of that, you have but the kids they absolutely
love it, like with you, My boys they watch it religiously,
just like every other kid. They have no idea that

(01:53):
they're just watching it with their papa. They'll put it
together eventually, and I don't want to spoil it from them.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Oh, I meant to ask you, your boys are so adorable?
What like I wanted to see outside of Home Alone?
What other movies?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Like?

Speaker 1 (02:03):
What would be the number? And I asked Mariah carry
this too. I just had her on last week. I
asked her what song she listens to the most out
of her own? But like, what movie? What Christmas movie
does mccullay culkin watch other than Home Alone?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
I grew up with a Christmas story Yes me too.
That was just laced into like, you know, our Christmas
season growing up. Yeah, so there's that. I like Scrooge.
Like Scrooge is one of those ones that was on
a surprising amount in my house. You really get things
like that, And then there certain ones that kind of
came like after my time that are still Likeking to
look like Elf is a is a fantastic Christmas movie.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
And again McCauley, I was going to ask, like, you
have to see Elf, and it had to be on
your list for sure.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
It's I'm a nostalgic for it because you know, I
watched it, like you know, more when I was an adult.
But at the same time, you know, yes, it is
a wonderful Christmas movie. If that's your favorite, you can
do a lot worse.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
You're right, that's for sure.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
All right.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Again, we have mccaullay culkin on don't forget December six.

past calendar year that we watched from beating to end
and I just absolutely love it.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
You belong on that show, and I know fans are
really pumped that you're gonna be on it. Do you, guys,
before I let you go any big plans, what does
mccullay culkin do for the holidays? For Christmas?

Speaker 2 (03:18):
We do the standard stuff, you know, get the tree.
I do go a little over boarded them decorating on
the outside of the house. It is a bit of
a it's a bit much, but it's you know, it's
a ton of fun. And then look again, we do
the standard like you know, read night before Christmas, we
hang out sknockings. We leave out the cookies and milk
or sanna some carrots for the reindeer.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Ah, your boys must have the best time.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
I even have their names and lights. I actually got
this like thing that fakes up their names and looking
in so it's it's very huge. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Well, whatever you do, don't ever leave one of them
home alone. Okay, whatever you do, you better look make
sure that they're always in the car with you. Okay,
you got to promise me.
