can do it. I'm gonna take what's called the big
d falls. We're gonna come back. I have a special guest.

(11:05):
a special guest today on the program. Really am excited.
I want to number one, thank my good friend mitter
Aaron Gonzalez for hooking me up with Rich Daniel and
he's involved deeply in the Women's Football Alliance. Not many
people know about it, sir, How are you doing today?
Welcome to the show, Big City.

Speaker 14 (11:23):
Thank you so much for having me today. I'm very
excited to be here and tell people about But we're
currently an off Broadway football product. It's making this way
to Broadway as we head to the National Championship at
the NFL Hall of Fame at the end of July
for our fifth year on ESPN two. Excited about being
Director of Partnerships for the WFA and also representing the

(11:45):
DC Divas as an owner and team president and excited
about our twenty fifth anniversary and how we can contribute
to the growth of the league.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
Well, Rich at number one, I have met not many
people with a voice I called James O. Jones or
this Rich Daniel. Tell me if James o' jones are
Rich Daniel, you got a great voice.

Speaker 5 (12:08):
Well, I had not heard that yet, But I appreciate
you good.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
See, yeah you can.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
I've as good.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
We're gonna fight it right now. I really do appreciate
talking to you. We know we have the night's NBA
Finals is Game six with Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma
City Thunder. But I want you to admit more about
the Women's Football Alliance. A lot of people have not
heard about it as much as they should.

Speaker 7 (12:33):
What should they know about it? Your thoughts?

Speaker 5 (12:37):
Well, they should know.

Speaker 14 (12:37):
There's incredible women over three thousand plus that play tackle
football with NCAA rules, And when you think about the
NBA Finals, many of these women come from a basketball
background or other sports disciplines and find their way when
their college career is ended, or in some cases, a
decade or more after it's ended.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
Yeah, yeah, they find their.

Speaker 14 (12:59):
Way to us to be in a sport that's more
physical than they've ever been able to be, and not
how to be a penalty or be a negative, able
to express yourself on a bigger team, be constantly put
in a position to learn and grow, which football demands
that of anyone, no matter how long you've played it.

(13:21):
So it really speaks to the competitor and the women
that have generated now fifty plus years after Title nine
and so many different representations in so many different levels
that you see now, and football to me is the
last natural one that is being participated in a greater
level with multiple leagues, thirty countries across the world. We

(13:45):
have three players with us from England and one from
Austria long this year and again just the overall growth
is undeniable and you'll continue to see that with the
advent of flag and how many more young ladies will
participating in a version of football. Yes, at a younger
age have their college scholarship paid for and then when

(14:07):
they're eighteen or or plus may consider a tackle opportunity.

Speaker 4 (14:13):
You know, that is very wonderful information. Talking to the
Ridge Daniel and part of the women's football Alliance part
of the DC organization.

Speaker 7 (14:21):
When you just said something that's so powerful.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
Oftentimes, when men graduate college, they have a chance to
go play pro. And now we have the UFL, we
have the of course the NFL, CFL in Canada, and.

Speaker 7 (14:34):
But for women, oftentimes it's the end of the roots.

Speaker 4 (14:37):
You're talking about opening up a paradigm shift for women
all over the world when.

Speaker 7 (14:41):
They're finished with their college playing days.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
You're saying you are actually inviting women in to explore
the business of Women's Football Alliance your thoughts.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
Oh absolutely, and not only the playing aspect.

Speaker 14 (14:53):
To speaking to the competitor, yeah, but also speaking to
the entrepreneur and the coach and the ownership all the
other roles that are now available.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
Not only in the NFL.

Speaker 14 (15:03):
We have women that have coached in the NFL that
played for the Divas, Jennifer King, Kelly Brownson. We have
replay officials, uniform inspectors. Forty percent of the league offices
now are as women. And as you see it with
the Indianapolis Colts, you will soon see about half the
league in the next decade.

Speaker 5 (15:22):
Being owned and operated by women.

Speaker 14 (15:24):
That will continue to yet you will continue to change
the culture of what was an old boys network, which
kept football as the last bastion of a male sport,
like you can't play you shouldn't.

Speaker 5 (15:36):
Play it, and if you do, you can't play it.

Speaker 14 (15:37):
Well, that type of attitude, which thankfully is going away,
but it's taken a quarter of a century.

Speaker 5 (15:44):
Of work of putting in right of going through that.

Speaker 14 (15:48):
And then it's also taken as you've seen around us
move basketball and soccer. We're on their own trajectory based
on having young girls in college model and all of.

Speaker 5 (15:59):
That in place. Yet what has happened.

Speaker 14 (16:01):
Over the last few years is you see Major League
Baseball investling and softball. You see Pro women's hockey yep,
you see pro volleyball starting. So all the other opportunities
that did not exist for all those years for those
college graduates are now coming into play. And once they do,
there's still going to be so many quality athletes that

(16:22):
are looking for something else, or when they haven't made
the WNBA yet, they have another place to go.

Speaker 4 (16:30):
I want to ask you Rich talking about the Women's
Football Alliance.

Speaker 7 (16:34):
You mentioned that and I want you to expound on that.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
You said about forty percent of the opportunities in the
next decade, maybe women in.

Speaker 7 (16:43):
Positions of power. Can you tell me more about that, and.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
How has that happening when it has not happened in
the NFL your thoughts.

Speaker 14 (16:50):
Well, so it is happening in the NFL. So if
before the Ray Rice incident, there was a small percentage
of women working at the league office, yeah, in the
last ten year plus that has grown to a roughly
forty percent of the women working out of the workforce
of the league office are women. When you look at
the ownership in the NFL, you have already seen several

(17:11):
teams with the patriarch pass and the wife or the
daughter or some version, and Indianapolis is the latest version
of that. So about a quarter of the NFL right now,
maybe a fifth a quarter of the NFL roughly is
now owned and operated by women.

Speaker 5 (17:28):
And over the.

Speaker 14 (17:29):
Next decade change you can look at another you can
look at another probably seven to ten franchises being in
the same position. So that's going to continue to change
the ecosystem of what does it look like for a
young girl or an adult woman or someone that's played
ten years of tackle football, what does that look like
for a career path and what does that look like

(17:51):
for the model of role modeling opportunity for the next
generation as well as I always love to talk about
how we are still here to shake up the current generation.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Yeah, I think that's just one that's a very good
way of looking at it. Bridge. Let me ask a
thought too, because obviously this is a league that deserves
more publicity and women you would think. Obviously half the
population in the United States are women and they run
a lot of opportunities that we just don't hear about televising.
But it's changing, as you mentioned w NBA tennis of course,

(18:26):
and track and fields always that's where a lot of
women get their attention to gymnatics, et cetera.

Speaker 7 (18:31):
But this whole league, I.

Speaker 4 (18:32):
Want to ask you, tell me about how many teams
do you have and are you looking at expanding in
the next decade.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
Your thoughts, well, absolutely big.

Speaker 14 (18:41):
So there are twelve WFA pro teams, or if you
look at it as a collegiate model, they would be
the Division one programs. Yeah, then you have in Division
two and three over forty teams and markets like Cincinnati,
Baltimore or any smaller markets that are starting out.

Speaker 5 (18:57):
Yes, So the expansion of.

Speaker 14 (18:59):
Ourly has inspired other leagues to start much like the
NFL has done that in their world. We're continuing to
do that, and then we're looking in a partner with
a company in Canada to explore opportunities to franchise and
build out our Canadian model. And then you're also looking
at the investment model for franchises becoming more of a

(19:22):
reality for individuals or companies or private equity or VC
or whatever their form is to be able to invest
in what they can clearly see is going to grow,
is growing already and has a track record to say,
where are the athletes coming from? Are there any women
that can do this? And the answers are yes and yes.

(19:43):
And when you put a pay system in to consider
whether you would leave your day job or not, you
will attract an even higher level of athletes who already exists,
who already is there, but is looking for coming out
of a college nil model to say, I'd like to
have something similar in.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
My next adventure.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
Yes, you know, you said something so powerful. Doucin and
Richard Daniel, owner of the DC franchise the Women's Ball Alliance.
When the NFL started, there are a lot of men
that had a job once the season was over.

Speaker 7 (20:14):
They didn't have the way they have it now.

Speaker 4 (20:17):
So for anyone that doubts that this is that this
can happen, because it already is happening for women, I
want you to expand a little bit on right now
when the playoffs in the finals for the NBA basketball,
the Baseball World Series is coming up obviously in October,
talk about the championship rounds. How do you count a
chapman in this league, your thoughts of tall team, your thoughts.

Speaker 14 (20:39):
Well, you know, the competition for sports and entertainment dollars
is no less yeah than it was when we started
in two thousand and one. It's only increased. And so
for US exposure on ESPN Plus yet for our conference
championship games this year will be is a huge step yep,
ESPN two for our national championship and then the eighth

(21:00):
USN dot TV network that has partnered with us here
for our games of the week and our first rount
of the playoffs, which are also elevating the amount of
people that can see US worldwide. And then give that
opportunity for what is a two round playoff structure. June
twenty eighth July twelve, and then two weeks after that,

(21:20):
July twenty sixth weekend is the National Championships at the
NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, which is our fifth
year of partnering with them, and we're working at other
ways to begin to grow and elevate that to where
hopefully one day you will see the women's NFL version
of a Hall of Fame with different letters of course perhaps,

(21:41):
but maybe well I'll tell you a story real quick.
So the Divas the dcdvas in two thousand and one,
two and three were part of the NWFL. The NFL
decided that that was one letter to many. I wonder why, right,
why it came the NWSA. Yes, and then in two

(22:03):
thousand and nine the WSA, the Women's Football Alliance formed
and has been there since and we've been part of
that where we won back to back championships in fifteen
and sixteen and then have been.

Speaker 5 (22:14):
Obviously part of the WSA Pro Division and growing the sport.

Speaker 4 (22:18):
Yes, that's obviously very important, you know, talking about growing
the sport. Talking to Rich Daniel, owner of the w
FA Washington DC franchise, what would it take to get
teams to come west of the Mississippi riber like Los Angeles,
San Francisco, if that makes sense to you, Seattle, any
on trying to get teams on the West coast that is,

(22:41):
California is the world's fourth largest economy.

Speaker 7 (22:44):
Any ports on getting the team in the California anytime soon?

Speaker 14 (22:47):
Your thoughts one hundred percent. We're in fact, we're right
there with you and trying to get more in the West.
We do have teams in the West, Cali, war Denver,
and Nevada. There are teams in the West, but there
are there is room for more. Yes, And I think
that's really what we have when we talk about our
system of we're basically creating the elementary high school collegiate

(23:12):
model all in one place with our different divisions as
we could team to separate the WFA Pro model and
lift the whole yep, much like you would consider the
SEC or the Big Ten to be part of the leadership.
Yes of NCAA Sports. Yes, that's well, same for us.

Speaker 7 (23:31):
Yes, same for you.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Now I want to ask you something that you know
you talked earlier about tatle nine talking to the great
Rich Daniel, owner of the Women's Football Alliance DC organization.

Speaker 7 (23:41):
When it comes to getting money for men. It seems
like Shield Knight has been all over the map.

Speaker 4 (23:47):
Everyone was wearing Nike shoes over the last two decades,
and when it comes to sponsorship, you would think that
they would jump on the opportunity to have a new
buying power, which is women's power.

Speaker 7 (24:02):
You would think they'd be all over responsositive for this league.

Speaker 4 (24:04):
Have you reached out into organizations like Nike or maybe
American Express or American Airlines, et cetera.

Speaker 14 (24:10):
Your thoughts absolutely. In fact, right after we get off
of this podcast together, we're going to put you to work.
Are going after some of those for us? But your
your your instincts are right on, and yes we have
and Nike, for instance, has gone after flag football because
they see the business modeling much wider than the tackle

(24:32):
ecosystem for women. But you stay tuned over the next
ten years and you will see the tackle ecosystem continue
to grow and that will continue to attract others like
a Nike. Right now, Wilson is part of our background. Yeah,
you know, and there's other companies that are again backing
us in a good way. But when you talk about

(24:53):
someone like a Nike, they have to sell their product. Yeah,
I mean women not just doing it for the altruistic.
But we're a good thing to do, and we're are
good calls and yeah, there's plenty of good reasons to
do it. Yeah, but they haven't quite flipped. We haven't
quite flipped the business model of enough eyes on us, yes,
and enough people wearing the products.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Well, that's gonna happen. I'd love to be a part
of that. Dan god out region Depth Curry with the
under Army. The only reason he did under Army is
because Nike did not change the proposal when they were
going to talk to him. Aready a better job? The
Bible says you have not because you're asked not. It's
about asking. I would love to be a part of
the growth. And I want to thank the great Aaron Gonzales,
a good friend of mine over twenty years, that even

(25:33):
introduced me to you in the final two minute warning
of what we're doing talking to the Rich Daniels, owner
of the Women's Football Alliance, the DC organization. When it
comes to media, and obviously I'm part of media, what
outbittes do you have for more media to pick up
what you're doing to say that's a viable product. I
want to be a part of that.

Speaker 14 (25:53):
Your thoughts, well, you're you're already helping us today, and
I thank you greatly on behalf of the for engaging us,
being curious and then from hereing out being interested in
telling more of the stories beyond the first story.

Speaker 5 (26:08):
For many is if I didn't know this existed, then
I'm telling that story exactly.

Speaker 14 (26:14):
Once you've told that story, there are so many more
personal stories that are on the interesting side. They can
connect on so many different levels, whether it be about
someone's background in age, occupation, or other interesting things that
are automatically connect to a wider audience.

Speaker 5 (26:32):
You know, one of the things when we first.

Speaker 14 (26:33):
Started this, I was surprised about the lack I thought
of women supporting this, and what I realized was that
they could not identify with it exactly. It came from
an error where they weren't allowed, weren't supposed to, didn't
have a chance to do all these things. And now
you talk to women that are grandmothers, that have granddaughters,
that have gone through the collegiate experience and appreciate what

(26:54):
we're doing at such a different level, which opens up
why they would be interested to hear that story. Yeah,
well listen to that podcast or see us play.

Speaker 4 (27:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (27:04):
And you know when you show people highlights of football,
at some point you have to take that helmet all yeah,
to really show that is somebody's mom.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
Yeah, yeah, that's.

Speaker 5 (27:16):
Whatever.

Speaker 14 (27:16):
Right you have to get past that disbelief which education
and awareness. There's no substitute for it, and there's no
there's no better way than being able to visit with
yourself yet or anyone like yourself that appreciates the sport. Yeah,
understands what it's like to sacrifice and dedicate yourself to it. Yes,
and then play in our case, with such passion in

(27:38):
your real life and have enough left in the tank
to do it here at a higher level.

Speaker 5 (27:43):
That's exceptional.

Speaker 4 (27:44):
I want to ask you before we close, talking to
the Rich Daniel, owner of Women Football and Life at
DC Brant. We just come up a Father's Day and
today's Juneteenth. I want you to limit in the final
minute talk about people in your life from being a
young boy to now o men, whether the parent, great grandparent, grandparent, unt,
or uncle who's been influential in your life that you

(28:07):
find yourself leaning on as you're trying to carve up
a bigger path when it comes to broadcast rights and
covers with you your thoughts.

Speaker 14 (28:15):
Well, many modern day people I've met in my broadcast career,
but I'll go back to the longest connection I've had
in my life, and that's my mom.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
Wow, she's ninety nine years old.

Speaker 14 (28:24):
Hey, the guy so to come from an era that
she did teach me about how I can interact with
other human beings, Yes, wherever they might be from Team
Sports has reinforced that.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
Wow.

Speaker 14 (28:39):
Being around remember the Titans, the original guys that the
movie was made after, has reinforced that. Growing up, initially
wanted to be Atticus Finch.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
Yep.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
I told that story recently. Somebody said, tell us something
we wouldn't.

Speaker 14 (28:52):
Know about you, and I got well, I wanted to
be a lawyer as a kid, and I wanted to
be Atticus Finch. Yes, and I wanted to be that
all the way up until I decided I didn't want
to go to school for seven years to be at Yeah.
So guess what, all these years later, I'm advocating in
a different manner for a group that is not represented
as they should be.

Speaker 4 (29:12):
Yes, I'm going to tell you the fact that your
mother's ninety nine, You're going to praise God for that.

Speaker 7 (29:18):
We're in June teens.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
You know, she's walked a lot of miles that we
haven't even had. The wild rich and I'm just grateful
for our parents and grandparents so much. I want to
just say to our people that have overcome so much,
especially on the junior teams all the day, and I'm
so grateful for you having the chance to come on
Big City Sports podcast. I want to be more of
the announcement of what you're doing going forward. I want

(29:41):
to thank you for having a super fantastic day and
I will see you down the road.

Speaker 5 (29:44):
Serve and disheartened.

Speaker 14 (29:46):
Spirit is where it's at to be, either to play
football or to overcome or to move forward in.

Speaker 5 (29:51):
This life that we're in. Yeah, this lifetime that we're in.

Speaker 14 (29:54):
And so I appreciate you your spirit and your heart.
And if anybody out there wants to learn more about
us DCVAS dot com, w f A Pro Football dot Com,
follow us on social media. That's one way that you
can honestly help us move forward by the eyes that
are following us and seeing those interesting stories and saying,
you know what they're bawling out.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
On the way and already here talking to the great
Rich Danielle owner w f A Football Alliance. When the
Football Alliance DC brand got to get a team in California,
I want to be a part of that bandguard growth.
I want to wish a super fantastic jun team. And
I'll see you down the road.

Speaker 5 (30:35):
You as well. See you're Kellie war fan, but you're
also DC.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
Sounds good. You're listening to the Big Seed Sports. I
want to take us call the big z pause and
I'll be back and get the movement.

Speaker 15 (30:52):
If we're earning unlimited three percent cash back on dining
in entertainment with the capital on the Saber card, let's
just get one of everything.

Speaker 5 (30:59):
Everything everything be coming to one Saber card. Is that
table twenty seven and they're earning I.

Speaker 7 (31:04):
Delivered the three cast about your shaft?

Speaker 5 (31:07):
This is so nice cat shot cat back shot show
not a feeling. You want to earn three percent cash
back on dessert?

Speaker 4 (31:20):
What's in your line?

Speaker 2 (31:24):
From small worlds to great, big beautiful tomorrows, from fairy
tale castles to galaxies far far away from the front
gates to the backside of water.

Speaker 16 (31:37):
For seventy years, Disneyland has been a place where imagination
takes flight and dreams come true. We are the shopkeepers,
the Jungle cruise skippers, the pit crew, the matterhorned yodlers,
the buccaneers, the cast members who have made Disneyland the

(31:58):
happiest place on.

Speaker 5 (31:59):
Our health for seventy years. Now, we're just getting so.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
To all who come to this happy place, welcome.

Speaker 5 (32:14):
The poor.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
When you're with Alex Gold, you can stuck four times
points on restaurants around the world.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
So shaming the same taste after all these years. Stay sweet.

Speaker 3 (32:38):
That's the powerful backing of American Express.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
All right, we are back from the Big Seed Pause,
also known as the Big C Timeout. You can follow

Olympic wrestling coach and a capt Verdie and I want
to do appreciate you, August. I don't know what part
of the universe you're in. You might be an outer space.
I don't know where you are whereas August calling in
from the day, so you're DUTs.

Speaker 5 (33:20):
I'm in the East, Coach, but I thought I heard
my team us that goes we go listen. I'm so
excited to be on the show. So many exciting things
going on. Yes, I am your reporter to give it
to you for the people of the people, by the people.

Speaker 7 (33:37):
Yo.

Speaker 5 (33:38):
I'm excited, you know.

Speaker 15 (33:39):
And when I sat there and I've been listening to
see your shows, I've been keeping up on what's going on.

Speaker 5 (33:44):
I'm blown away.

Speaker 15 (33:45):
I got to say this to you, Charleton, because I
know you won't fag yourself, but it's an honor to
be on the show and the fact that you are
so reachable in so many different platforms. There are friends
of mine and people that I know that tune in
from Atlanta, in Brooklyn, OKC, Rhode Island, Minneapolis, Baltimore, Green Bay.

Speaker 5 (34:05):
But that's just locally.

Speaker 17 (34:07):
You are an international show, and I wish people would
take a second to really digest that I got friends
people we talk about you from Botswana, Nigeria, Central Africa, Portugal.

Speaker 5 (34:18):
Cop verd and Paris. France.

Speaker 7 (34:20):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (34:21):
And I always tell them you can reach him anywhere.
It's not hard.

Speaker 15 (34:25):
iHeartRadio, Spotify podcast, Apple podcasts, Google Podcast, Radio Line, NFL Network, Infinity, Comcast,
Route TV.

Speaker 5 (34:34):
Roku TV, Amazon, Fire TV.

Speaker 14 (34:36):
Wow.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
This man can be found everywhere.

Speaker 15 (34:39):
There is no reason that you can't find them and
get what's going on in the United States, not to
mention the t that you have on what's going around
the world.

Speaker 5 (34:46):
So I am happy and I feel blessed to be
on this show.

Speaker 4 (34:49):
Well I'm honored.

Speaker 7 (34:50):
That's why I moved to the black hole. So people
can't find me on this welfare.

Speaker 4 (34:55):
I'm broadcasting with a black hole. They can't find me
in the Buk and level where.

Speaker 16 (35:00):
But I do.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
I appreciate you very much. August number one, Happy Juneteenth Holiday.
I went I went to the bank today and I
forgot you know, I just wanted to go put some
money in the bank, and the door was locked, and
so I said, okay, well I'll just do it tomorrow.
And then another lady came up and she was like,
I can't believe they're closed on a Thursday's out of here,
you know some people.

Speaker 7 (35:22):
Then I'm familiar with the holiday holiday.

Speaker 5 (35:28):
And they should be.

Speaker 15 (35:28):
You know, it's been something that's been celebrated for years
within our culture. There's been multiple cookouts, multiple opportunities to
do it. But now that it federally recognizes, what's changes. Yes,
that means that people can get over.

Speaker 5 (35:43):
Time, double time, or paid time off.

Speaker 15 (35:47):
Yeah, for it to be recognized federally, like when Martin
Luther King day, Yes, Martin King.

Speaker 5 (35:51):
The last state to take them in was.

Speaker 15 (35:53):
Arizona, and Arizona was going to get a super Bowl,
was hesitant to do it.

Speaker 5 (35:57):
They say, we ain't gonna send the super Bowl to here.

Speaker 15 (35:58):
Yeah, they quickly wreckgnize it. So I am so glad
because it has to be done at a federal level.
And that's also Native Americans me being a narrogantic Indian,
if you're not registered and federally recognized, it doesn't count
for tuition assistance to get money to make lowering prices
for a college.

Speaker 5 (36:18):
It has to be federally recognized. So I'm so glass
that it was done.

Speaker 15 (36:22):
Yes, here's let's let's cross our fingers to make sure
it's staves because things are day to day. But I'm
just so happy that we can celebrate this now because
it needs to be celebrated. Raid sometimes people don't talk
about that Juneteenth isn't just today.

Speaker 5 (36:38):
The reason why at this team is because it was.

Speaker 15 (36:42):
A circular time frame because they was given information by
stage coach.

Speaker 5 (36:47):
They wasn't calling somebody up or paid way.

Speaker 18 (36:50):
You have to free trinkled along and trust me, those masters,
those slave masters, those people that were keeping the up stuff,
was keeping all their foot on their necks.

Speaker 5 (37:01):
Yeah, he didn't happy about it.

Speaker 7 (37:02):
Let's be honest.

Speaker 15 (37:04):
That emancipation Proclamation came down from the presidency and twinkled down.

Speaker 5 (37:09):
We had numerous people of color that couldn't read or
write because.

Speaker 15 (37:13):
They weren't allowed were allowed to say, didn't want to,
they weren't allowed to. And the only thing they was
allowed to read is the Bible. And that was only
one person that was put his cards to read the
Bible to them.

Speaker 5 (37:24):
So it wasn't like everybody could learn. That was done
in secrecy. But my point is June Team for people
that don't know.

Speaker 15 (37:30):
Like I said, we got listeners all around the world
that don't celebrate this particular thing. Is that it's a
time frame when the word got out plantation to a
plantation area, state to state. So we went up and
down the country. You had some states like California, Nevada
that would never play states, but in the south, in
the eastern region that did have play it slowly matriculed

(37:54):
its way out. People realized they had choices then became
sharecroft in all these other things exactly until after they
was free, which is zoom peas is a way of time, not.

Speaker 5 (38:06):
Just a particular date and all. I just wanted to
say that because people ask.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
Very well said California was a fugitive state. If you
found a slave, you can return them. So it was
and by by proxy a slave state. They've returned the
slaves all the time and all that.

Speaker 7 (38:18):
Really, yes, they were.

Speaker 5 (38:21):
For real.

Speaker 7 (38:22):
I didn't know that, ye.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
And all life began on the continent of Africa. Doctor
Leaky recommended. Anyone can google that all life came from Africa.
But I want to get you going with this August
we have the number one thank you for the history
of our great people. All life came from Africa and
God's eyes. And that's a fact I want to ask
you tonight. We have the you know you and I

(38:43):
were talking because we keep it real. I love the
NBA basketball but this is not the counting moment from
the NBA and people can say, oh, see the best
team wins.

Speaker 7 (38:53):
Well maybe so.

Speaker 4 (38:55):
At the same time, I hope that they can get
some high schoolers to surround the arena on the outside
of Indianapolis, because people don't seem to care as much
as they care when people have block parties in New
York c MSc your thoughts.

Speaker 5 (39:09):
Yeah, you know what, It's funny because you've seen the games.
I've seen the games. Sometimes who's talking to em those games?
How often are they.

Speaker 15 (39:16):
Looking into the crowd to show who's sitting up front?
Right You and I talked about the star power or
lack thereof it. Certain teams made it to the championship.

Speaker 5 (39:26):
They're not going to the front rows. You're not seeing
Jack Nicholson. You're not seeing stars, you're not seeing athletes.

Speaker 15 (39:31):
I'm not saying that you're not seeing support, because yet
there is support. But we're talking about star power. We're
talking about those Nielson viewers. Yes, we're talking about a
lot of people watch basketball for different reasons, and some
of those reasons are not there right now. And then
also I feel as though they're trying to find the
pump when you have a lot of these people on

(39:53):
other networks that are saying, how wonderful.

Speaker 5 (39:56):
It is, how beautiful it is, how it is, how
special of this being Indiana?

Speaker 7 (40:00):
Am I talking about?

Speaker 5 (40:02):
Yeah, Paul talking up on the screen so I can
see him. Yeah, yes, talking.

Speaker 4 (40:08):
About the list right not on my vacation list. Come on, Matven.
Michael Jackson left. Michael Jackson, the Jackson they left really fat,
Really they left Gary andian are really fast. So it
just blows me away that they are trying so hard
to make this tolerable.

Speaker 15 (40:26):
Yet no shade on the athletes because they can't control
where they get drafted.

Speaker 5 (40:31):
I'm just talking about the sheer location of it.

Speaker 7 (40:34):
Yes, it's not it's it's tough. It's not the Indianapolis
five glit.

Speaker 5 (40:39):
It doesn't have to glit. No, they're still talking about
what's going on with.

Speaker 15 (40:43):
New York exactly, more about the Lakers being sold and
we're talking a billion dollars.

Speaker 5 (40:47):
They ain't just being played. He ain't talking about August.

Speaker 4 (40:50):
Keep it real. They said some brother bought the Lake
of a ten billion dollars. I said, there's a reason
August is back in the United States. Thoughts talking about
play back home, you might have to move to the
black hole ten million dollars.

Speaker 7 (41:06):
Put my head out, you know, like grabbing hole that.

Speaker 5 (41:08):
I had to see what the darn was going on
out there.

Speaker 15 (41:12):
You know. The Lakers being sold for ten millions just
showed a period of teams really being.

Speaker 5 (41:19):
Sold for a lot of money.

Speaker 15 (41:20):
If you just go back a little bit. Celtics were
just sold in the same year. Funny because how much
the six one bill Yeah talking be as a boy,
as in the Big Table, as in the Big Talk. Yeah,
six point one billions put the Sun to twenty twenty
three for four bill.

Speaker 5 (41:37):
The Mavericks went for three point five bill in.

Speaker 15 (41:40):
The Hornets the Stinky Hornets for three point three point
old bill.

Speaker 4 (41:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (41:45):
I'm just sitting here thinking about it, and you know
what this is telling me. We're headed towards expansion. Yeah,
you are headed really fast.

Speaker 5 (41:54):
I know they're talking a little bit about Seattle. They're
talking about Las Vegas.

Speaker 15 (41:57):
Yeah, but they're talking a little bit about Seattle. I
don't know if that's the I'd like to see.

Speaker 4 (42:02):
An East and the West team come in. I'd like
to both on the West. I would like to see
that what do you think I would love to see
a team back in Canada. We already have the Canadian
we have the CFL, we have the we have the NHL.
We just had Florida knockout Edmonton. We have Toronto.

Speaker 5 (42:16):
It'd be great.

Speaker 4 (42:17):
The Grizzlies left Vancouver. Put a team in Vancouver and Seattle,
because that's the Pacific realm. A lot of money comes
in from the Pacific Ocean to the ports, bullying, ni King,
et cetera. I mean, if we could have a team
in Oklahoma City where they denied Black Wall Street the reparations,
That's why I don't want Oklahoma City to win. But
I know they're gonna win the night anyway. But for
that reason alone, I don't want them to win. I

(42:38):
don't want the state to be celebrated when they turn
their backs on Black Wall Street.

Speaker 5 (42:42):
Oh trust me, Oh trust me.

Speaker 15 (42:45):
None of that money is going towards any of those families,
none of those issues before going people's pocket, and no
one's even gonna think about it. It's funny how a
blind guy is turned. Unfortunately, I'm a conscientious observer. I
can't just watch basketball without looking to know the other
things in the periphials.

Speaker 5 (43:01):
It comes out way too much.

Speaker 15 (43:02):
How people are treated, it comes out way too much,
and how athletes are profile.

Speaker 5 (43:06):
It comes out way too much.

Speaker 15 (43:07):
That when someone's not absolutely perfect, something gets highlighted all
over the news.

Speaker 5 (43:12):
They look some kind of way.

Speaker 15 (43:13):
So it's hard for me to put my hardness on
my eyes and just look forward to times tough.

Speaker 7 (43:19):
That's what I like to do that.

Speaker 15 (43:22):
You know what, I hope that Oklahoma does not wear
because all things being equal, I want to see a
game seven. I want basketball stretched out as long as possible.
I would like to see that happen. They're playing some
good basketball. That said, it's not the teams I want
in there.

Speaker 7 (43:38):
You know.

Speaker 15 (43:38):
But but but I think it is competitive. I mean,
you've got Jay Gildas and Jay Williams get both averaging
over thirty to last what great games, Yeah, over forty
five percent. I mean, so they're balling. But here's what's
bothered me. They are quickly talking about making comparisons to
uh real players Tippin' Jordan to Jack Wobin Pamierships. First,

(44:06):
please please, because greatness is a level that has sustained
over a period of time, over a period of time
and just because someone has. I mean, if you and
I have a great talk show, you and I get
out there, we're not suddenly walking Cronkite and Barbara Walters.

Speaker 7 (44:24):
We gotta do this for.

Speaker 5 (44:27):
You, See what I'm saying.

Speaker 15 (44:28):
You have to do those types of things to get
up there. So I just don't understand why you're so
quickly comparing him to Durant and Curry because.

Speaker 5 (44:36):
They did it for three games. Guys have done it
and still do it. The ones that are playing are
still doing it. And those other guys were.

Speaker 15 (44:44):
Multiple championships cutting the door on other all world players.

Speaker 5 (44:49):
So please be a little bit easy, punt the break
before you're going greatness. Please get a little bit before you.

Speaker 7 (44:56):
They crowned jesse On at the Berlin Games.

Speaker 4 (44:58):
You want to go medal, You saying boat, go medal,
Carl Lewis gold medal, Noel Allows gold medal. They crown
guys after they won. But I know they got to
know it up two. No matter what you see tonight,
as they were gonna see Halliburtons for three yes in
the hole. At the same time the guy that has
a hitch in his gidea up. Yes, Yes, it's gonna

(45:19):
it's gonna hurt him.

Speaker 7 (45:20):
I mean, if he can play play. Some people are saying, if.

Speaker 4 (45:23):
You're not one hundred percent August, it's anyone ever one
hundred percent. You're around Olympic wrestlers. They're never one hundred
percent your thoughts.

Speaker 15 (45:29):
Let me say this, it doesn't matter what scored. It is, football, basketball, baseball, hockey.
When you were at the end of the season, when
you were in the championships, when you were in the playoffs,
your body has already went through stuff. You're enduring things,
you're suffering. You're getting through it because you have built
up a resistance.

Speaker 4 (45:45):
Yes, do that.

Speaker 5 (45:46):
You played eighty two games a day after day.

Speaker 7 (45:49):
Back to back, regular stations like that.

Speaker 5 (45:51):
It's in the playoffs.

Speaker 15 (45:52):
Yeah, But when they're talking about Kyriees, I've heard some
people say some things and it made sense, so I
want to quote it.

Speaker 5 (45:59):
Yeah, if you're in, don't play.

Speaker 7 (46:01):
No, you got to play.

Speaker 5 (46:02):
You're not entered exactly.

Speaker 15 (46:04):
I mean, Wayne, but you're a millionaire. You're a millionaire
with a shoot deal, some of the kind of deal.
You play basketball for a living. If you get on court,
ball out, do the best you can bet When you
sit there and look about the medical staff, the rehab,
the men, the men that you can't take, not to
mention that it's.

Speaker 5 (46:22):
Not back to back.

Speaker 15 (46:23):
I feel as though he can go off there, he
can play. He's gonna take whatever he needs to take
to go out and help his team. There's lots of
ways to contribute to a team besides scoring, and I
know that he can get out there and do some things.
I'm sure he's gonna shoot and they're gonna test it.
Let's just be honest.

Speaker 5 (46:39):
Who doesn't get tested, who doesn't get put in these situations.
He's just gonna hold it together.

Speaker 19 (46:44):
But to me, I wish they would do a little
bit more poker fee act like you've been there exactly
Crimson and laying on the floor and wait for somebody,
get the hell up, shoot your free throw.

Speaker 15 (46:55):
Toby did it Kobe before is a killing walk to
the free throws life not him down and said, struck
me out.

Speaker 4 (47:02):
I gotta go Blady Thompson, Say Thompson. When the Golden
State lost to Toronto, he still went to the free
throw line after he tored a c l He didn't
get carried off in the cart.

Speaker 7 (47:12):
He walked me to the side. Whether that's smart or not,
they still did it.

Speaker 4 (47:16):
And I don't want to see players saying, well, I'm
not one hundred percent, so I can't play. Nobody's one
hundred percent any passion class is your past twenty five
years old? Are you one hundred percent? Thus, you know
you need some of that d NC. You need you
need one to day. Oh now you're telling me, Now,
you tell me wants to give.

Speaker 5 (47:36):
Me some one to day silver, Like what you talking
about to day? I don't need that. I need a
regular one to day. Yeah, but what you're trying to say,
He's like, my dad, it's fifty play, you know all
it is.

Speaker 7 (47:50):
He hears you when you get off the count, he's
like that, You're okay.

Speaker 4 (47:53):
Like, yeah, what are you talking about? He speaking of
speaking of your your son. Yeah, and you I want
you to just tell the world that you were also
celebrated in Wisconsin and please lament on that if you
don't mind your thoughts.

Speaker 5 (48:10):
Yeah, thank you for that.

Speaker 7 (48:11):
You know.

Speaker 5 (48:12):
I was just I just went through the process and
I'm now in.

Speaker 15 (48:16):
The North American Indigenous Athletic Hall of Fame and it's
all of North America. I'm the first wrestling coach to
be in there, it's a very humbling.

Speaker 5 (48:28):
It was a great experience. We had their full show brunch.
It was great.

Speaker 15 (48:36):
You know, they gave me certificates at facts and stuff
like that. But it was great to have my son
right there and family and friends, and it was this.
You know, it's kind of like a culminating moment. You know,
as an athlete, some of those moments are winning the championship,
you know what I mean, player of the year, player
at a tournament, those kinds of things, and as a

(48:57):
coach a few between yeah, heyes, to get me a
coach of the year and those kinds of things. But
they don't often have that at that level. I don't
seem able to do that. For the Sacramental State and
for our conference. I achieved that younger in my life.

Speaker 4 (49:13):
But being in the.

Speaker 15 (49:15):
Hall of Fame just means that you're kind of cemented
and the things that you've done are worthy the accolades
that you've done, So it's kind of like a pat
on the back, and then that's some way, somehow you.

Speaker 5 (49:27):
Managed to get through it.

Speaker 7 (49:28):
Yeah you got through it, but you deserve it too. August.

Speaker 4 (49:30):
Not only have you been a great athlete, you're also
a great leader of men, and that's one of the
things I appreciate you about you, not just athletically, but as.

Speaker 7 (49:38):
A person of media as well. I just had a
conversation with Richard Daniel.

Speaker 4 (49:42):
He's the owner of the Women's Football Alliance, the Washington
DC franchise, and they're expanding all over the all over
the country. They're also in Canada. Talking to him about
things that grew up and made him the man that
he is. And I want you if you don't mind,
if you can just tell me. Obviously, we just have
the hl Lord Stannis Cup. Now, I watched hockey sometimes,

(50:04):
but I really didn't get into it the way. I'm
not gonna pretend. Oh I love hockey. I like hockey.
I don't love hockey. But they did win a championship.
They lost to Well, I've been and lost to Florida.
They're having a celebration on Sunday. Why not have the
thing on a I mean, Sunday is a church day.
Why not have it on a Friday? Our Saturday? Your thoughts,
I agree with you, you.

Speaker 5 (50:25):
Know, I think it might must have been an easy
take for them. I don't know what all's going on
in Florida. It's funny to say hockey in Florida.

Speaker 7 (50:33):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, where it's always cold, right.

Speaker 15 (50:37):
But you know it shows the growth and expansion, eh,
the fact that the United States has taking a better
look at it and all the power teams.

Speaker 5 (50:44):
Aren't located in Canada. A lot of players are, but
not all the teams exactly. That would have been nice
to do.

Speaker 15 (50:50):
That during the week, but maybe they don't feel as
though they're going to get the same turnout as they
would if other teams have done it. I can say
this year I went out and watched the Providence Ruins play.
There was some fighting, there was some aggressive Yeah, it
was it was nice old on What was that hold on.

Speaker 4 (51:07):
That?

Speaker 5 (51:08):
I hear my duor bell ringing, But I put in.

Speaker 4 (51:10):
My order, don't tell me that Grege Burder. That's what
I hear. That's the Big Murger. It's on his way,
it's on his way speaking. He was thinking speaking of
the Big Sea Burger. As we just talk about the
world of sports, and I want to just touch on

(51:31):
the Lakers one time, because you talked about it. The
Lakers just sold to a billionaire. The guy who owns
the Dodgers also for ten billion dollars. Jerry Buss bought
the Lakers for sixty seven million dollars back in nineteen
seventy nine. So for Jeannie Buss to say, I'm gonna
sell now if you're rich, how much more money does
she need that she would give up with her father

(51:52):
worked so hard for your thoughts, you.

Speaker 15 (51:54):
Know, well, you know the couple brothers and sisters throw
out the two marriages that he had. They had to agree, Uh,
not unanimous, but they had to be. They had to agree.
She was the determining vote. And the fact that she
is going to stay as the governor of the team
a little surprising to.

Speaker 5 (52:11):
Me, but not in the bad ways. The fact that
she has ran the team. She's a woman doing it.
So let's take our hat off to her first ball,
because that is not as a women's sport.

Speaker 15 (52:20):
I just have their first couple few coaches, starting with
the Spurs, was the first one to have a woman's coach.

Speaker 5 (52:26):
The fact that Genie Budd.

Speaker 15 (52:27):
Is out there doing it and leading by example, that's great.
But I am surprised was that they're telling But I
guess not as much because they don't own the land.
That the basketball arenas on. They don't control everything that
goes in and out. They're not making the kind of
money that they could make, which is why the Clippers
went elsewhere, way.

Speaker 5 (52:47):
More than Mesphis and some of those teams.

Speaker 11 (52:49):
It was said that in a week.

Speaker 15 (52:51):
They're making more than those other baller market teams in months.
So that's that's kind of crazy to me. But the
fact that they still own what like fifteen percent, not
a majority owner.

Speaker 5 (53:01):
But they are enough, you know, to have a to
have a saying what's going on until you own it out.

Speaker 15 (53:07):
I just think that this the Lakers now have deeper
pockets to operate under Wich.

Speaker 5 (53:12):
They're going to now that second year umbrella that.

Speaker 15 (53:15):
A lot of people are talking about that no one
wants to have to worry about paying for when you
go over your budget. Yep, that's going to be met
a little bit differently or fully believed that the Laker
is going to go out and get a big man,
that the Lakers are going to be very active because
now their access to money is way deeper than it
was before.

Speaker 4 (53:32):
Well, August, I got a bone to pick with you.
What but you know as a world traveler, what but
you know about going over your budget.

Speaker 5 (53:42):
Trust me, because of the US dollar, the found stronger.

Speaker 4 (53:48):
Okay in some country, you know, knowing what's going on here.

Speaker 7 (53:53):
What I got to ask, what confident you're calling from.

Speaker 4 (53:55):
I don't want to hear about going over the bleedge
of the family. But speaking of going over budget and
being June teenth, black Americans were robbed from sixteen nineteen
to eighteen sixty.

Speaker 7 (54:10):
Five, another hundred years of Jim Crow.

Speaker 4 (54:12):
So when the lady says, well, why is the big
closing at Thursday, you know we didn't get the Homestead
Act of eighteen sixty two that gave only white men
one hundred and sixty acres of land. And I think
compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. Imagine
all the money that Black Americans would have as we
celebrate June teens with no gift inside the bucks.

Speaker 7 (54:34):
It's a nice story, but there's no gift inside the
bucks called reparations.

Speaker 4 (54:39):
People that bought the lakers. I guarantee you you can
trace some of the legacy back to people who got
the Homestead Act, which is only white men, or the
gi Bill, or they benefited from coming from a legacy
of slave ownership, from insurance companies to banks, and I'm
real about that. I know we want to celebrate sports
and celebrate white men that could buy a ten billion
dollar organization, but they didn't earn that money. A lot

(55:00):
of them are given that money. They were born into it.
With all the racism and cornyism that's kept a lot
of black men and women out of ownership. We can
go to share and run up and down the court
and make people wealthy, But I'm about reparations because we
should be able to say a black man about the
legas for eight billion dollars your thoughts, that's some.

Speaker 5 (55:18):
Serious stuff because there's a difference between being rich and wealthy. Yeah,
he old'eil years ago said that. He said that he
was rich, he could do what he wanted. He said.

Speaker 15 (55:27):
The person giving him the change in that family their wealth.
So there's a whole difference. And when we often talk
about people being born with a silver sooon in their mouth, yeah,
that is just symbolism for the word opportunity, because when
you are born with certain opportunities, when you have a
legacy of your family going to Harvard or Yale or Prince, Yeah,

(55:49):
that is a different set of expectations. Not that any
other college can't give you a great education, but that's
privilege and gives you opportunity. So just like what you're
talking about the Homestead Acts, money on slavery, these tyds
of things that have had that happened and stayed in
the family for years in the years paved multiple generations

(56:11):
the opportunities. So that's a very that's a very real thing.
I mean that there's not even a debate. If this
was a debate show, there would be nothing to be said.
That's unfortunate that people of color never had such opportunity,
regardless what may have happened. People squander money, people make
bad decisions, and some people make great decisions. Some people

(56:33):
do all kinds of stuff with their money. Some people
make things the cotton gin, Yeah, made by who a
person of color? Right, There's so many things, ideas, experiments
that have happened with people of color as they had
the right person behind me, they didn't.

Speaker 5 (56:49):
They wasn't given those opportunities, and like you said, their
ideas were solen.

Speaker 15 (56:54):
They weren't given credit until multiple years after someone already
between a millionaire yea multiple times over. Then they're saying, oh,
by the way it was influenced from so and so.

Speaker 5 (57:05):
So it's just really it's.

Speaker 15 (57:07):
Really difficult sometimes to sit back and wonder where the
opportunities went. But it's the opportunity if your lego underneath you,
ye generations ago.

Speaker 5 (57:17):
It's hard unless you walk and focus on that and
see where it is.

Speaker 15 (57:20):
So it doesn't make it tough. You're not saying that
we haven't done a great job, even with the car
that gets stuck exact part. But in ownership, that's where
we'd like to see more of a dibratic reflection of
the people.

Speaker 5 (57:34):
Is in ownership. In leadership.

Speaker 4 (57:36):
Yeah, that's who Mark, and that's what I appreciated with
Ricksy Sports Podcast coming to you from the black Hole
broadcasting all over the universe. I got to make sure
they don't follow me to the black hole and try
to take over that the way they try to take
over Africa and everything else they've taken. I want to
say in the last minute, because I got a hard
outcoming for the NBA, I want to get some things
taking sure of that. In the final minute, August tell

(57:57):
me some things about can we find the great August
last last things that are coming up, whether it's you
or your son in the world or your sports business
that you're in your thoughts.

Speaker 15 (58:07):
Yeah, you know, we do have the World Championship coming
up in zick Berg, Croatia.

Speaker 5 (58:11):
That's coming up in September. So there's going to be
training camps going on in Spain, in Portugal and in
Korea leading up to that.

Speaker 15 (58:19):
So there's definitely some excitement of our athletes going to
the World Championship because that's that's the crumbs, the little kram,
you know what I mean that that's where it's at
right there.

Speaker 5 (58:28):
So that's what.

Speaker 15 (58:28):
We're kind of working because people need to rehab. They
in time off, they need to get their mind right
and then they get back to it. It's hard to
grind in that kind of thing when you have to
in this kind of sport. Yeah, you have to manage
your weight when you have to do When we have
a telic basketball, you can go back and forth, you
can hit a couple, but then you've got to do
some other things.

Speaker 5 (58:46):
That's what players don't have to worry about their weight.

Speaker 7 (58:48):
Yeah you wait, Hey, hey, that's your words, that line.

Speaker 4 (58:52):
Okay, that's a big brother.

Speaker 5 (58:56):
You want that.

Speaker 15 (58:58):
I in my business today I'd go with to Burgick
King and I run into Miguel and some other guys
sitting here talking about how the Celtics or snake Bitt
was unfortunate.

Speaker 5 (59:08):
They always have something derailed them. And I'm taking in
front of mine, my business and get eighteen championships. I'm saying,
excuse me, I said, you talking about the Celtics. He's like, yeah,
you know what's unfortunate. And I said what he said?
The injury?

Speaker 15 (59:21):
And I said, I understand that that's toff, but they
were losing already before that happened. And say, oh, who
are you following?

Speaker 5 (59:26):
And I said, I'm a nex saying that's but that
has nothing to do. I'm just talking about the truth.

Speaker 15 (59:31):
So I'm like, so I ended up asking his name
is Miguel, nice guy from Warren, And I said, hold on,
what are you talking about?

Speaker 5 (59:36):
He goes for you remember what happened with Lenn Bias.

Speaker 4 (59:38):
I said, ninety.

Speaker 5 (59:41):
Guys talking to him grand eighty six. You're one two
thousand and eight, one twenty four. Are you kidding me?

Speaker 15 (59:48):
You have three you have two three hundred million dollar athletes.
You guys are never happening. You are still kind over.

Speaker 4 (59:54):
There, get out of here.

Speaker 15 (59:56):
Eighteen champions fans are become a nauseating to me.

Speaker 5 (59:59):
Man, I don't know how they lived with himself.

Speaker 4 (01:00:01):
In fact, but later they went to the bank and
the bank's closed on Thursday.

Speaker 7 (01:00:04):
I think she was a Celtics fan. I lost friends.

Speaker 4 (01:00:06):
Leven were seven of the great August Wesley. I know
we got to run in a few seconds, but I
want to just ask you.

Speaker 7 (01:00:11):
I wish for the best. I hope we get a
game seven. I just don't feel it.

Speaker 4 (01:00:15):
In my guts that we're gonna get a game seven
out of Indiana and the Oklahoma City.

Speaker 5 (01:00:19):
I gotta charton.

Speaker 7 (01:00:20):
Yeah, I think you're gonna be a game seven.

Speaker 15 (01:00:22):
I don't think it's gonna be because how marvelous a
wonderful it is in Indiana.

Speaker 5 (01:00:26):
Yeah, I think some of their their banks players are
gonna step off. And that's the best thing the NBA
can do is stretch it to a game seven.

Speaker 15 (01:00:32):
Yeah, you were talking about it before, you talking about
a stimulus package or har Reeves can get out there. Yes,
I think he's gonna he played breaking game three, Game one,
he has a three pointer.

Speaker 5 (01:00:45):
I think I think they could be fine.

Speaker 4 (01:00:48):
All they need a Yes, all they need a couple
of technical fouls, a couple of travels, a couple of Hey,
you called me a Bundy blah bluff, you're out of
the game. They did it to Raymond Green.

Speaker 5 (01:00:58):
I'm I don't tell. I'm I mean take Yogasey does
puts off an. I hope that they look at that.

Speaker 15 (01:01:05):
But to be honest, I think a game seven would
be good for all all parties involved.

Speaker 7 (01:01:09):
Again, for everybody.

Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
It's just it just uh, you know, it just uh
they need it. I think the basketball world needs just
because as you can see, like I said, they're not
looking at the crowd. No, and they're they're not.

Speaker 15 (01:01:21):
They're talking more about the Lakers, New York, everybody, what's
going on. They're talked about it, not like they used to.

Speaker 5 (01:01:28):
You know. It's I'm just tired of seeing everyone get
con turned. But I want to get you something before
I leave.

Speaker 15 (01:01:33):
I'm taking down and I was thinking about my top players,
and I want to let you know who I think
they are.

Speaker 5 (01:01:37):
My number one top player, Michael.

Speaker 15 (01:01:39):
Jordan's I'm looking at number two or three, Lebron and
Kareem Abdul right doesn't need them.

Speaker 5 (01:01:46):
I got Kobe and Larry Larry legend, he got game.

Speaker 15 (01:01:49):
And right underneath those guys, I got Bill Russell, I've
team the dream, Dennis Rott and Charles Barkley and Wilton
still all for different reasons, but those those are guys,
and that you couldn't have basketball the way it is
now without those people. And that to me, with what
you talk about when you're talking about the dominance and

(01:02:11):
sheer legacy of players, I am secing tired of people
being told because they have a great day or a
great day, they had heard a half said, here's the
next something.

Speaker 5 (01:02:22):
Something I rustled in four world vesteran world championships, multiple
national titles, and you know what, I didn't just rub
dirt on it. I went to the training rub, I
got the rehab I needed, and I went out there
and I gave my best.

Speaker 15 (01:02:33):
And that's nfter the day.

Speaker 5 (01:02:34):
That's all I can do. So no excuse is let's
get out there, let's get after it. Just like you,
there's a you don't feel good. This this show goes
on the SA you're not the best.

Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
This show goes on every day.

Speaker 15 (01:02:45):
So I wish they took that lunch tale card. Working
attitude to the court.

Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
Like we do every day. Raised God, raised guys, baby
august leslie for three, Yes, give thelen't really let's go boys.
I want to make it so much, I'm wanna take
much fall the Big Sea ball also known as a

(01:08:27):
You bet your assys, you need asset protection.

Speaker 7 (01:08:31):
Now.

Speaker 4 (01:08:31):
I know a lot of pastors and they said, big
c I put my trust in the Lord with all
my heart, mind, body assumed. And I said, well, there's
nothing room with that. But the probate court. They don't
care about the Lord. Oh that's passim.

Speaker 7 (01:08:45):
I said, seriously, they don't care about Jesus Christ from
the probate court.

Speaker 4 (01:08:49):
He said, you.

Speaker 7 (01:08:49):
Seeing Jesus Christ can't defeat the probate court.

Speaker 4 (01:08:52):
I said, Jesus Christ couldn't even save his own But
that's why he was crucified. He was crying ah about
five out ah about.

Speaker 7 (01:09:01):
But God let it happen anyway, because he has to
go through the rest erection. He had to deal with it.

Speaker 4 (01:09:07):
You know, oftentimes when we pray, we play out ah
bah Bama, God let us go through things too. I've
been to my own things. Wasn't always pleasant.

Speaker 7 (01:09:15):
But I had to get through it. You know, you
got to have a trust when you go to court.

Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
You just can't say I'm gonna take my Bible and
the court is gonna respect my Bible because it won't
work that way. You got to have a trust. And
that's told to us by President Lennon maz Johnson. He's
signed in the law the long term care and titements.
You got to put properties into a trust, and not
all trust are equal at one time processing fee versus
mainsurance premiums for the rest of your life. You gotta

(01:09:40):
give that some praise. I say, give it praise, praise, praise.

Speaker 7 (01:09:43):
Because of mine and your assets are tablet in the
ways you.
