He is the national player of the year. A really

trading away Luka Donsig. It's amazing that they jump ten
spots to get the number one pick, PJ. It's rare
to have a team pick number one that's also in
winnow mode.

How does Flag fit into Dallas' timeline with veteran stars
like Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving.

On his roster, Allen could not fit in more, I
say equally across the board. You look at the players
they have right now, putting the injuries aside, with ad
with Lively, with Jaffer, with just the loaders when Kyrie
comes back. Cooper's Flag. The best thing about him is

blend in He'll be different at different times in the game,

team right now has one of the best returning rosters

fortunate for them. I think more fortunate for Cooper. I

had more pressure on him last year as a seventeen

Of the Brotherhood Do Basketball than he will have as
the number one overall pick in the.

about versatility. Andy Carr, you see to play so much

got defensive versatility his wings fan Yes, he actually does that,
But when you consider his punt. We saw from Nko
Harrison two years ago in the draft where they made

a trade Oklahoma City to bring Derek Lively to Dallas,
and that is a team and they also bought another
duke guy in by the name of Kyrie Urging. That
team went on to the finals. Now this year they
don't make the playoffs. So do we see another finals
appearance on the Mavericks the season, I mean next season something,
because that's the order.

But when you look at Cooper Flag, he fits in defensively,
wide away and as coach said, doesn't have the pressure
of being an offensive guy for day one. Well, they
said the pick is in. It has been in since

made a comparison to another team that was in win

that in mind, you mentioned also the Houston Rockets in
there when the Spurs at the second pick, the Rockets
gave up, they had the tenth pick, but they got
Kevin Durant. They still kept a lot of their young
players despite the fact that they got a guy like

Kevin Durrant. They moved on from a number two overall
pick in Jalen Dream but they still have five of
their first round picks over the last two drafts.

be the face of the franchise.

How big of a benefit is that, not just.

because we've seen a lot of young guys get eaten
up in this league early on. He's going to take
what the defense give. He's gonna be pick his rolls
on in each take, depending on the lineup that he's
playing with. I think the biggest thing is the locker room.
He's going to because he's going into a locker room
with veteran players, said it kind of been in his situations,
like can Anthony Davis, like Klay Thompson, like a Kyrieer

to help him navigate that transition. I think a locker
room is so important to a young talented player like him.

He's also got I think a coach who's been through
this before himself, young coach, tremendous expectations when he came

players don't know how to do that. They think, well,
I got to go in. I got to score points
right away because I was a high draft picker. Because
I'm getting a chance to play. Cooper Flagg has the
poise to let things come to him.

We were talking about this earlier as well. What san
Antonio does with his number two pick has got your attention.
What it really is telling because when you think about
Dylan Harper, who is a projective number two picks, if
you take him in San Antonio, while you already made
a big move to get the air and box and
you have Stefan Cassell who was the rookie of the years,

you have a back what that is set for the
future in san Antonio drafting at number two. He's in
draft at number two once and that was a guy
who's at all times great by name of Kevin Durant.
When you draft number two, you're not looking to draft
a reserve. And so Dylan Harper, in my opinion, isn't
the best fit for san Antonio, and I believe if

they do take him, he could very well be a
piece to going out and getting The biggest fish.

we've ever seen that from him in his twelve year careers.
